This session explores development of a repeatable process for feasibility studies by evaluating three Recreational Sports facilities at The University of Texas at Austin. Mission: generate a defensible strategic path for infrastructure renewal and program modernization that elevates the student experience.
Speakers will discuss the process of analyzing qualitative & quantitative data: infrastructure analysis, utilization data, surveys, user interviews, and benchmarking to establish a defensible decision foundation, highlighting discoveries, recommendations, and lessons learned throughout the process.
Panelists will describe the prioritization process of programs and share the multiple renovation and phasing options that were developed, and how they were evaluated for cost, schedule, and operational disruption, and aligned with UT System capital delivery requirements to create a flexible and dynamic roadmap of investments.
