Aaron Scherpereel
Aaron is the Assistant Vice President for Facilities and Safety Services at TTUHSC. While completing a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering (MSIE) at Texas Tech, he spent 5 years as a manufacturing engineer in production of heavy construction equipment and fire suppression heads. Following his MSIE, he spent 9 years in construction, managing commercial HVAC controls and security projects across the southern US, including airport terminals, hospitals, Vivarium, emergency operations centers, BSL-3/BSL-4 labs, and K-12 facilities. During his 16-year tenure at TTUHSC, Aaron’s responsibilities have grown from managing construction projects under $2M to overseeing all operations, maintenance, construction, regulatory and safety compliance, and space allocation across all six campuses. He also acts as a key liaison to our system-level construction teams.
