Kim McCuistion
Texas A&M-Fort WorthDr. Kim McCuistion serves as Associate Vice Chancellor with The Texas A&M University System and Director of Texas A&M–Fort Worth. Her focus is developing the new campus into a collaborative hub connecting Fort Worth industries with the System’s research, education, and workforce training assets.
Dr. McCuistion brings extensive experience in campus planning, programming, design, and construction to serve growing student populations in North Texas. Prior to joining the A&M System, she was Vice President for External Operations and Dean of Tarleton State University–Fort Worth, which opened in 2019. In this role, she partnered with business, industry, faculty, staff, and community colleges to expand and launch academic programs. She also oversaw Tarleton’s teaching sites in Waco, Midlothian, and Bryan and previously served as Chief of Staff to the president.
Earlier in her career, Dr. McCuistion spent 11 years at Texas A&M University–Kingsville as a faculty member and Dean of the Honors College. She holds degrees from Texas A&M University, Kansas State University, and West Texas A&M University.
