Russ Wallace

Russ Wallace is a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) with more than 42 years of experience in architectural and construction management, making him one of Texas’s most accomplished public education facilities management executives. Throughout his distinguished career, Russ has driven innovation in facilities management, combining technical expertise with forward-thinking business practices to build organizations known for client focus and results-driven performance.

For 14 years, Russ served as Chief Facilities Officer for the Texas A&M University System Office of Facilities Planning & Construction, overseeing all aspects of planning, budgeting, design, and construction for projects averaging $2 billion and 50 major initiatives annually. He led the completion of 295 projects totaling over $9 billion, leaving a lasting impact on the university system’s infrastructure and growth.

Russ holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. He completed The Governor’s Executive Development Program at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and was honored as Outstanding Alumni by Texas A&M University School of Architecture in 2023.
