Daniel Gockley

Executive Director of Housing and Residence Life for The University of Texas at San Antonio since 2013, Dan Gockley has over 25 years of progressive experience in housing and residence life. Dan earned his Bachelor and Master degrees from the University of Kentucky. He has extensive experience with facilities management, renovations and new construction. Dan has experience working at three public universities and one private residential college. Dan has been an active member of regional and national professional housing organizations, serving as a regional committee chair for four years. He has presented at the regional and national level on topics such as supporting at-risk students, retention and student success and most recently served as a panelist at a regional student housing development summit.
