Tina Livingston
East Texas A&M UniversityTina Livingston serves as the Vice President for Finance and Administration & Chief Financial Officer at East Texas A&M University, where she provides executive leadership for the institution’s comprehensive operational and financial framework. Her expansive portfolio includes Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Procurement, Contracts, Real Estate, and Information Technology, as well as the University Police Department and Risk Management.
Serving as CFO since 2020, Tina has been a primary driver of the university’s physical and financial evolution. Under her tenure, the institution has invested over $200M in capital projects, including the development of a $77M Event Center. With over 20 years of experience in higher education, she is recognized for her ability to align disciplined fiscal stewardship with bold institutional growth, specifically navigating the financial mechanics of funding non-revenue-generating spaces and adaptive reuse strategies.
For the TCUF community, Tina offers a unique CFO perspective on the strategic intersection of campus infrastructure, fiscal sustainability, and long-term master planning. She views facilities projects not merely as buildings, but as vital assets that must be leveraged to drive institutional prestige and student success.
While she is a veteran of multi-million-dollar fiscal strategy, Tina admits her real masterclass in persistence comes from her two most relentless negotiators: her daughter and her beagle.
