Laura Lara

Laura Lara, AIA, is the Associate Vice President for Planning and Construction at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), where she leads campus master planning, capital planning, and the delivery of construction and infrastructure projects that advance the university’s academic, research, health care, athletic, and student-success priorities. A Registered Architect in Texas and the District of Columbia, Laura brings experience across higher education, public-sector work, and the U.S. Department of Defense, including leadership of major capital projects within The University of Texas System.
