Aziz Hussaini

With over 30 years of experience in higher education and engineering design, Aziz currently serve as Associate Vice Chancellor for Campus Planning, Construction & Sustainability at Austin Community College District. In this role, he works with a range of teams responsible for project management, facilities planning, sustainability, and construction, helping support the development of safe, accessible, and effective learning environments. Aziz’s background includes work at the University of Texas at Austin, where he contributed to a variety of campus infrastructure and capital improvement projects. A licensed Professional Engineer and LEED AP, he brings experience in planning, collaboration, and problem-solving, with a focus on supporting teams and delivering practical, long-term solutions. Aziz earned his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, a Masters in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas Austin, and a Masters in Construction Engineering and Project Management from the University of Texas at Austin.
