Charles Reed

Charles Reed is a Principal at HED with more than 15 years of experience leading the design and delivery of complex architectural projects. Based in Dallas, he specializes in higher education, healthcare, and civic environments, with a focus on creating spaces that align institutional goals with meaningful user experiences.

At HED, Charles leads multidisciplinary teams from early concept through construction, ensuring design quality, technical rigor, and project clarity at every stage. He is known for his collaborative leadership style and his ability to translate client vision into cohesive, high-performing design solutions.

Charles has held leadership roles at several respected projects, contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects that reflect both design excellence and operational effectiveness. His work is informed by a strong commitment to sustainability, adaptability, and long-term value.

He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from A&M Texas and is a member of NCARB. He also holds Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Political Science.
