Clint Menefee

Clint Menefee is the Higher Education Studio Leader for SmithGroup in Texas. For more than 20 years, he has led the programming, planning and design processes for innovative learning and student life environments on university campuses across the country, including projects for major Texas institutions like Texas A&M University System, University of Texas System, and University of Houston System. He also leads the firm’s national Recreation, Wellness & Athletics practice, frequently leading the planning and design of campus recreation and collegiate athletics projects across the country. Clint is an active voice in the architectural community in Texas and nationally, appearing in a May 2026 segment of CBS’s America ByDesign, Athletic Business magazine, Campus Rec Magazine and presenting at the national IMSH and NIRSA conferences.
