Jim is recognized for his ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through challenging programs, aligning stakeholder goals with practical, high-performing design solutions. He has played a key role in the planning and execution of major campus infrastructure and research initiatives, including central utility plants, advanced laboratory environments, and large-scale institutional facilities. His leadership focuses on early problem-solving, clear communication, and delivering well-coordinated documents that support cost certainty and successful project delivery.
Throughout his career, Jim has built long-standing relationships with clients and collaborators, serving as a trusted advisor on projects that require both technical depth and strategic thinking. He is known for his steady leadership, collaborative approach, and commitment to delivering durable, high-quality solutions that support the long-term mission of the institutions he serves. Jim is a graduate of Texas A&M University and earned his Masters of Architecture from Harvard University.
