Wayne Atchley

Dr. T. Wayne Atchley is the inaugural Vice President of Regional Campuses at The University of Texas at Arlington, overseeing UTA Fort Worth and leading the development of the new UTA West campus in Parker County. A first-generation college graduate from Fort Worth, TX, Dr. Atchley brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education leadership, including service as Vice President for Academic Affairs at Tarrant County College – Trinity River Campus and senior leadership roles at Tarleton State University. He holds a Doctorate od Education in Agricultural Leadership and Communication from Texas A&M University/Texas Tech University, an MBA from Texas Christian University, and a bachelor’s degree from TCU. Dr. Atchley is committed to expanding access to higher education, building strong community and industry partnerships, and supporting the economic growth of West Fort Worth and surrounding communities.
