Lindsey Yazbek

Lindsey Yazbek is the Green Labs Coordinator at the University of Texas at Austin where she has overseen the Green Labs program since 2019. She has a background in Geosciences and Environmental Studies. Working under the Environmental Health and Safety group she has also gained experience as a laboratory safety specialist. She has an educational background in geosciences and environmental studies. She also serves as the co-lead for I2SL’s Lab Materials Management working group. The Green Labs Program has certified over 150 lab groups as Green Labs on campus. Initial funding came from UT Austin’s Green Fund, a competitive grant program created by pooling student tuition fees to fund sustainability-related projects on campus.
