Steve Fitzpatrick

Steve Fitzpatrick is the Founder and Principal of Fitzpatrick Architects, bringing more than four decades of experience guiding architectural projects and shaping the built environment across East Texas. Since founding the firm in 1986, he has led its growth into one of the region’s most established practices, recognized for design quality, technical rigor, and long-standing client relationships.
As a licensed architect in Texas, Steve provides strategic leadership across the firm’s portfolio, advising clients on project vision, delivery, and long-term value. He remains actively engaged throughout the design process, ensuring alignment between client goals, design intent, and execution.
Steve earned his Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and a Master of Architecture from Rice University. His career reflects a consistent focus on leadership, mentorship, and the delivery of enduring, context-responsive design solutions that support the communities they serve.
