UT MD Anderson Cancer CenterWith over 25 years of experience in healthcare operations and maintenance management, I specialize in building operations technology, utility management, planning, design, construction, and consulting engineering. I lead Engineering, Building Systems, and Utility and Energy Management functions supporting MD Anderson’s more than 16 million square feet of academic healthcare facilities. My responsibilities include project engineering and commissioning, building automation, emergency power systems (EPSS), electrical utilities, vertical conveyance systems, space inventory, building information management, and digital twin initiatives.
In partnership with MD Anderson’s Design and Construction team, I support the Blueprint of Impact growth strategy, which includes approximately 8 million square feet of new construction and a $12 billion capital investment over the next decade.
My expertise spans building technology systems, IoT, cyber and network security, power and utility systems, energy conservation, sustainable building practices, construction management, master planning, facility renewal, financial forecasting, strategic growth, and capital budgeting.
I am a Texas-licensed Professional Engineer (PE), hold an MBA and a BS in Electrical Engineering, and am a LEED Accredited Professional
