William Peel

Bill Peel is the Executive Director of Learning Environments for Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. In this capacity, Peel is responsible for championing innovation, impact, and continuous improvement toward the advancement of the school’s vision, mission, and strategic initiatives. His primary focus is on innovating the school’s learning environments across all facilities. This includes the exterior environments that surround and integrate the school’s buildings. Under Peel’s direction, Mays recently completed the construction of the 82,000 square foot Wayne Roberts ’85 Building. He is currently directing the design of a 138,000 square foot graduate programs building, scheduled for occupancy in early 2029.
Peel has held executive leadership positions in organizations ranging from management consulting to real estate, design, development, and construction. He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of Architecture degree from Texas A&M. In 2016, he was named an Outstanding Alumnus of the College of Architecture, a distinction held by less than 1% of the college’s graduates.
A frequent author and speaker, Peel has addressed audiences nationwide on design thinking, innovation, strategic planning, and visioning. This includes guest lecturing and participation in symposiums in the academic community.
Peel has received numerous awards and commendations including the Marketing Excellence Award from the Society for Marketing Professional Services.
