Leland Snell

Leland Snell serves as Director of Facilities Operations for the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the operations, construction, startup, and commissioning of facilities across a diverse range of industries, including semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, healthcare, and military logistics. His experience spans both project delivery and ongoing operations, providing a unique perspective on the challenges of transitioning facilities from construction completion to full operational readiness. Leland specializes in aligning facility systems, support infrastructure, and operational requirements to ensure new facilities are prepared to effectively support their intended mission from day one
