David Bess

David Bess serves as Assistant Vice President of Planning & Construction and University Architect at Baylor University, where he leads the planning, design, and delivery of capital projects that shape Baylor University’s guest, student, faculty, staff and alumni experience on campus. With more than 15 years of higher education experience, he oversees long term campus planning and capital project development from early concept programming through construction, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities, campus heritage, and long-term facilities performance.
