Amy Ruffino serves as the South Texas Cities & Places Department Lead and the Client Services Lead for The University of Texas at Austin. With Jacobs since 2018, Amy has become a trusted advisor for UT Austin Leadership and within the Jacobs team as a project manager. In her leadership roles, Amy manages and grows the building’s practice in South Texas and strengthens relationships at UT Austin as the main contact for current and future projects. As an architect and project manager, Amy guides both the project team and the client team from conceptual design to substantial completion. Recently, Amy has completed several projects for the Applied Research Laboratories complex as part of UT’s research campus, in addition to the Library Storage Facility project for the Collections & Preservation Research Center. Amy has a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University. Amy celebrated her 8-year anniversary with Jacobs in March 2024.
