Dennis Wittry

Dennis Wittry, P.E., S.E., is a Managing Principal and Southwest Regional Director of Structural Engineering at Walter P Moore, based in Houston. Over his 32 years in practice he has designed numerous award-winning higher education buildings throughout Texas, most notably at the University of Houston, Rice University, Texas A&M University and San Jacinto College. His experience includes numerous highly-sustainable projects including three LEED platinum core & shell buildings, three completed mass timber projects, and multiple adaptive reuse projects. Dennis has a passion for creative structural design that enhances the architectural design, rather than just supporting it.

In 2022, he was named a Distinguished Graduate of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Texas A&M.
