Wardell Ross

Wardell Ross Jr., is a licensed architect with nearly 30 years of experience leading complex institutional, higher education, civic, wellness, and community-focused projects. As Associate Principal and Director of Texas Operations for Moody Nolan, Mr. Ross provides leadership across the firm’s Texas practice, with a focus on client service, project delivery, strategic planning, and multidisciplinary coordination.
His higher education experience includes planning and project work with Texas Southern University, Prairie View A&M University, East Texas A&M University, and other public institutions. His work supports academic transformation, student life, campus renewal, research environments, health and wellness, and community-facing facilities.
Mr. Ross brings a practical understanding of how campuses must adapt existing and new spaces for changing academic, operational, and community needs. His approach emphasizes clear communication, technical accountability, collaboration, and facilities that are buildable, flexible, and meaningful to the people they serve.
