Personally Identifiable Data submitted to TCUF for conference registration, submissions, or sponsorship will be deleted at the end of twelve (12) months following the conclusion of the most recent conference event. This period allows for necessary follow-up, organization, and preparation for the subsequent conference series, after which the term limit for data retention resets.


3. Financial Transactions

 

By using and purchasing any of the following services—sponsorship, speaker session submission, or regular institution-based attendance—you acknowledge and agree that all financial transactions will be processed through the designated third-party platform chosen by TCUF. TCUF is not the direct processor of payment card information and relies on the security protocols and terms of the chosen financial third-party platform.


4. Relationship and Acknowledgment

 

By submitting data and selecting the Terms Acknowledgement contained within the forms on this site, the user explicitly recognizes and agrees that TCUF is not entering into a legal contract, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship with the user. Your attendance, submission, or sponsorship represents a license to participate in the conference subject to these Terms.


5. Limitation of Liability

 

TCUF is not responsible for how the user interacts with the site and the tools, platforms, or resources made available therein. Users are solely responsible for their conduct, use of information, and any results or consequences that arise from their interaction with the TCUF website and its components.


6. Governing Law and Arbitration

 

In the event of any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the TCUF Conference, and should negotiation fail, arbitration will be the sole method of resolution. Any such arbitration will be conducted based upon the laws and within the jurisdiction of the state of Texas, United States.

7. Intellectual Property Rights of Speaker Content

 

The views, opinions, findings, and conclusions expressed by speakers during their sessions or within their presentation materials are strictly those of the individual speaker and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of TCUF.

TCUF is not responsible for, nor does it endorse, any specific content, views, or opinions presented.

  • Origin and Responsibility: All presentations, papers, slides, demonstrations, and any materials (collectively, "Speaker Content") presented at the conference are of the speaker's own origin.

  • IP Ownership: Each speaker is individually and solely responsible for the intellectual property (IP), copyrights, trademarks, and any other proprietary rights contained within their respective Speaker Content.

  • Indemnification: By presenting, the speaker agrees to indemnify and hold TCUF harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney's fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of their Speaker Content, including any alleged IP infringement.
